HILL PERFORMANCE TRAINING (HPT) COMMITMENT: Hill Performance Training welcomes any athlete looking to take their life and athleticism to new found heights. we believe that creating buy-in, alongside expert coaching driven by sport science creates an environment for maximal results. the unrivalled results we make with our athletes are accomplished through relentless commitment to detail in our programming, using the gold standard of technology, research, and application of behavioural science to address their needs. Our culture is built on the foundation of character, effort, & humility with a mutual desire by athlete and coach to get better each day, not only as athletes, but as people.

We profile our athletes based on a thorough understanding of the human body, biomechanics and specific sport demands, combined with the latest evidence-based sports science. The program is tailored to detect each athlete’s strengths and weaknesses to enable design of individualized programming & adaptations.

The profile consists of three tiers:

Tier One - Musculoskeletal Screen: Mechanical testing and assessment that allows our staff to detect muscular imbalances, mobility concerns and inefficiencies and program appropriately to offset these issues.

Tier Two - Athletic Competency: Performance testing that gives our coaches a profile of the athletes power, strength, speed and level of conditioning. Our values are compared to normative values of other athletes at their level to determine what areas need most improvement.

Tier Three - Performance Indicators: Based on sport and positional demands, our coaches will build a balanced program of power, strength, speed/agility, and conditioning based on the specific needs of the athlete. Athlete force development is tracked week-to-week to ensure appropriate programming and optimal performance.

CHIROPRACTIC & SPORT THERAPY: We are happy to welcome Dr. Zack Godwin as our director of operations for our onsite sports medicine clinic at the Hill Performance Centre. Dr. Godwin offers chiropractic care, acupuncture, sport specific rehabilitation and pain management modalities. We are very excited about being able to offer this service to provide our athletes with the best possible care. All HPT athletes will have prioritized access to booking with Dr. Godwin.

CLEVELAND CLINIC:  For specialist referrals and imaging, we continue to partner with Dr. Clarfield and the Cleveland Clinic. Our partnership allows for athletes to get priority booking, which otherwise generally is a 6-month waiting period.
